Affectionately known as Portland's living room, is a public space in the center of downtown Portland.

| Pioneer Place
An upscale, urban shopping mall in downtown Portland. It consists of four blocks of retail, dining, parking, and an office tower named Pioneer Tower. The mall itself is spread out between four buildings, interconnected by skywalks or underground mall sections.

| Tom McCall Waterfront Park
A park located on the west bank of the Willamette River in downtown Portland.
During the summer, many children visit the the park to play in the water that shoots from the ground.

| Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
A historic theater building and performing arts center. Part of the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, it is home to the Oregon Symphony, White Bird Dance Company, and Portland Arts & Lectures. It is also a concert and film venue. Originally (and sometimes still referred to as) the Paramount Theatre, it is also locally nicknamed "The Schnitz".

A traditional Japanese garden located within Washington Park.
The Garden features the Strolling Pond Garden, Natural Garden, Sand and Stone Garden, Flat Garden and Tea Garden.

The largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon.
PDX has direct connections to major airport hubs throughout the United States, plus direct international flights to Canada, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Singapore, and The Netherlands. It is also a hub for flights to smaller cities in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, California and Nevada.

One of the three districts in Northwest Portland.
It includes Portland's Chinatown, marked by a pair of lions at its entrance.

A densely populated retail and residential neighborhood in the Northwest section of Portland. Craftsman- and Old Portland-style houses are packed tightly together with grand old apartment buildings and sleek new condominiums, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shops.

| Portland International Raceway
The track hosts a Champ Car race every year and ICSCC and SCCA road racing and autocross events. The facility includes a drag strip and a motocross track.
The road course is almost perfectly flat and runs clockwise.

The Port of Portland is the port district responsible for overseeing Portland International Airport, general aviation, and marine activities in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area in the United States.

| Lloyd District
A primarily commercial neighborhood.
The Lloyd District prides itself as an excellent place to work and live. The area thrives with restaurants, shops, hotels, the Loyd Center Mall, condominiums and apartments, and office buildings.

| Hollywood District
The Hollywood District (originally Hollyrood, after the Scottish Holyrood) is a neighborhood of NE Portland, renamed for its historic 1920s era Hollywood Theatre. Although a mixed commercial and residential area, it serves primarily as a shopping district to the adjacent neighborhoods of Grant Park and Laurelhurst, as well as riders of the MAX Light Rail System.
It is home to the Hollywood Farmers' Market.

| Alberta Arts District
Alberta Street is the heart of an arts, restaurant, and shopping district approximately 20 blocks long. On the last Thursday of every month there is a street fair that takes place in galleries and shops during the winter months, and outdoors during warmer weather, with tables set up by local artisans along the sidewalk. Street performers and food carts also participate in the street fair.

| Hawthorne District
known for its young, liberal residents and pedestrian-friendly high density mixed-use development. Historically, the district has been populated by Generation X and hippies, and more recently, hipsters. Residents are attracted by the vintage homes and apartments and the locally owned shops and restaurants.

A retail and residential district.
The area developed around the first trolley line in East Portland, established in 1888.

| Ladd's Addition
One of the oldest residential districts in Portland.
In addition to the off-kilter layout that has confounded many Portlanders, the narrow streets in Ladd's Addition are lined with American Elm trees and many lead to a large traffic circle in the center.
